Block rewards halve every 2,100,000 blocks (approximately 4 years), following a schedule similar to Bitcoin. Unlike traditional PoW algorithms that favor specialized hardware, RandomX levels the playing field by prioritizing CPU mining. The RandomX key changes every 2,048 blocks, approximately every 1.4 days, enhancing security and fairness. This regular key rotation makes it significantly harder for attackers to exploit the network or optimize mining for specific blocks. By changing the key frequently, HashCoinX ensures that no single miner or group can dominate mining, maintaining a level playing field for all participants. This approach not only improves the security of the network but also ensures that mining remains decentralized and resistant to potential ASIC or botnet exploitation.

Yes, HashCoinX supports both SegWit and Taproot from the very first block. These advanced features improve the scalability, security, and privacy of the network. SegWit (Segregated Witness) optimizes transaction sizes by separating the signature data, allowing for more efficient block usage and lower transaction fees. Taproot, on the other hand, introduces more complex transaction types, offering enhanced privacy, better smart contract functionality, and the ability to consolidate different types of scripts into a single signature. The block header structure in HashCoinX is designed for efficiency and security. Each block in the blockchain contains the following fields:


- Version (4 bytes): Identifies the version of the blockchain protocol used. This field allows for easy upgrades and compatibility with future improvements.

- Hash of the previous block (32 bytes): Ensures the integrity and immutability of the blockchain by linking each block to its predecessor, forming a secure chain of blocks.

- Hash of the Merkle root (32 bytes): A cryptographic hash that represents the root of the Merkle tree, summarizing all transactions in the block and ensuring data integrity.

- Time (4 bytes): The timestamp for when the block was mined, providing a chronological order to the blockchain and ensuring that blocks are processed in sequence.

- Target bits (4 bytes): Defines the difficulty level of the block's proof-of-work algorithm, which adjusts the mining difficulty to maintain the network's target block time.

- Nonce (4 bytes): A random number used by miners in the mining process to find a valid block hash. The nonce is incremented until the block's hash meets the required difficulty.

- Height (4 bytes): The block's position within the blockchain, starting at zero for the genesis block and increasing sequentially with each new block.


Altogether, these fields make up 84 bytes of data per block header. The structure is optimized for both performance and security, ensuring fast block processing while maintaining the integrity of the HashCoinX network.
